REGARDING: Convocation 2020

At an emergency Zoom meeting of the Board of General purposes held last evening, March 25^th, it was decided that in light of the current pandemic, the Annual Convocation of Grand Chapter scheduled to be held on May 29 – 30 of this year will be cancelled.

It was further decided that:

· Current officers will remain in place until the next Annual Convocation to be held in Corner Brook in May of 2021, (if any officer has difficulty with this contact the GHP)

· Convocation 2021 will be hosted by Milley Chapter in Corner Brook, and

· Convocation 2022 will be hosted by Shannon Chapter in St. John’s.

Chapter secretaries are to distribute this memo to the membership of their Chapters. The Host Committee will assume responsibility for notifying out-of-jurisdiction guests who have registered for the Convocation and return any registration monies received.

Companions are reminded to live up to the high ideals of our fraternity by practicing self-isolation and social distancing. These small acts of self-sacrifice are essential in order to help stop the spread of this deadly virus.
